Of Ships and Sails…

Korcula in Croatia, and the strait past Kneza, are well known as hot spots for sailing and windsurfing.  In honor of this fact, today I’ve got a few photos to post of a beginner learning to windsurf, and of a beautiful yacht moored in the harbor.

If you are planning on staying in Korcula, or you have Kneze accommodation, you will still want to spend at least one day on the water, enjoining the wind.  During June-August, there are plenty of tours available to take you out on sailboats… also, sailing and windsurfing lessons are available in Korcula for both children from 7 years of age, to adult beginners.
