600+ year old St Anton’s Church of the 100 Steps (Actually 130!)

Today we visited a lovely chapel, 100 steps to St Antons Church in the district of St. Anton’s, on the way back from the beach at Lumbarda.

I LOVED the beautiful stone steps leading up to the stone archway in front of the church.  If you’ve got Korcula Accommodation or Kneze Accommodation, this is a lovely side trip if you’re heading to or from Lumbarda.  This church has been standing since the 1300′s.  That, just in case your mind boggles at those numbers, means it’s been standing there for over 600 years.

It and the view from the top are beautiful, and very much worth the five minute climb!
